Aplil 1947 Kikuchi Manufacturing is established as a metal - stamping workshop.
December 1949 First delivery to Prince Motor Co.
November 1953 Kikuch Body Kogyo established at No.592 Shimorenjaku,Mitaka City Tokyo, for manufacturing and sales of automotive parts.
July 1954 First delivery to Fuji Heavy Industries.
November 1959 Haijima Factory (the current Akishima factory is completed and commences production.
April 1960 Company renamed Kikuchi Press Industry.
March 1963 Kikuchi Press Industry reorganized as business corporation with capital of 10 million yen, based in Mitaka City.
May 1964 First delivery to Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
January 1969 Hamura Plant is established as a primary assembly base.
November 1972 Manufacturing and sales of refuse incinerator started.
May 1984 Kikuchi joined Hirata, Hongo Takao kinzoku Kogyo, and American Honda Moter Co., Inc. for setting up KTH Parts Industries Inc. in Ohio(for manufacturing and sales of automotive parts, etc.)
September 1987 Honda Motor Co., Ltd. put 9.52% fund into Kikuchi Co.,Ltd.
May 1988 Kikuchi joins Takao Kinzoku Kogyo and America Honda Motor Co.,Inc. USA set up jefferson Industries Corporation in Ohio (for manufacturing and sales of automotive parts, etc.)
April 1988 Kikuchi acquired 90% of Nakamura Seisakusho (die design and manufacturing, etc.)
April 1990 Technical Center and currentry set up and started at Kitsuregawa, Shioya, Tochigi.
March 1991 With full-scale of Jefferson Industries Corporation, equity investment in KTH Parts Industries Inc.
February 1992 Remaining shares for Nakamura Seisakusho acquired to make it a wholly -owned subsidiary.
November 1995 Kikuchi was awarded Deming Prize by the Union of Japanese Scientists Engineers (JUSE).
December 1995 Karmaster Inc. established in Michigan, USA, as Kikuchi's sales office.
December 1995 Head office moved to Akishima plant.
April 1996 Kikuchi listed as over-the -counter stock market with Japan Securities Dealers Association.
December 1996 KP Do Brasil Ltda. (currently Kikuchi Do Brasil Ltda.) established in Sao Paolo, Brasil, Jointly with Honda Motor do Brasil, Ltda.
September 1997 Technical Center acquired ISO 9001 certification.
December 1997 Equity investment in Jefferson Elora corporation, subsidiary of Jefferson Industries Corporation. (Ontario,Canada).
July 1998 Equity investment in Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive, Inc., in Indiana, USA (manufacturing and sales of automotive parts, etc.).
December 1998 Hamura plant & Verification plant acquired ISO 9001 certification. Technical Center acquired ISO 14001 certification.
April 1999 Hamura plant & Verification plant acquired ISO 14001 certification.
First delivery Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.
June 2000 Equity investment in Jefferson Southern Corporation in Geogia of USA,subsidiary of Jefferson Industries Corporation.
August 2001 Decision for construction of Gunma plant in Ota, Gunma prefecture (Operation start scheduled on June 2002.)
November 2001 Kikuchi joined Takao Kinzoku Kogyo for setting up APAC(Auto Parts Alliance China Ltd).(Manufacturing and sales of automotive parts,etc.)
November 2001 Kikuchi acquired QS-9000/TE certification.
June 2002 Established new Gunma plant in Ota, Gunma state, started operation.
July 2002 Relocation of the head-office to Hamura Tokyo due to concentrate the planning and management function of headquarters.
August 2003 Gunma plant acquired QS-9000 certification.
December 2004 Gunma plant acquired ISO 14001 certification.
March 2005 Established APAII plant in Guangzhun, China.
March 2005 Established the WAPAC factory located Wuhan city by joint venture with Takaokinzoku and (Wuhan Auto Parts Alliance China Ltd).Kikuchi
May 2005 Honda became the top shareholder (Investment ratio is 20.7%)
September 2005 Established CKS by Kikuchi and our three business partners in Conghua, Guangzhou China.(operation started February, in 2006)
October 2005 Changed the settlement term on March (Our accounting year changed from September to March). (before: from April to March)
February 2007 Established the joint venture company by Takao Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd and Kikuchi Co., Ltd in Rajasthan, India, named "Global Auto-Parts Alliance India Private Ltd.".
November 2007 Hamura plant, Tochigi Plant and Gunma Plant acquired ISO/TS 16949 certification.
April 2008 Kikuchi Co., Ltd took over the wholly-owned subsidiary which name was Nakamura Seisakusho.
September 2009 Established a new plant in Saitama State Fukaya city, started operation.
April 2010 Kikuchi USA Inc. Dissolution.
May 2010 Reached out the agreement of the merge with Takao Metal Industry Inc.
June 2010 The approval of merge agreement at the 57th shareholder conference.
